What happened to me in #GROWtober

October lived up to it's word and was a period of growth for me.

I wish I could recap it all, but I’ll share three specific things that impacted my growth this month.

1. I released my first book I AM Thriving

I’ll spare you the tears and shenanigans — but this almost didn’t happen. I’m proud to say that I GREW through my temporary emotions and kept going.

2. I’ve been Gluten Free & accidentally Vegan for 2 months

My body had enough and forced me to do right by it. In #SOULtember I broke up with gluten, then I realized that I had magical powers to be disciplined and STOP EATING THE THINGS THAT MADE ME FEEL CRAPPY. Animal products are among that list.

Yup. I’m proud! 🌱🍍🥑🥦

3. I took my own advice

I was having a bad week y’all! 😩 Like really, really bad. 😥 Everything that could go wrong did. 🤦🏾‍♀️ My sweet friend Teresa called me and said, “I need you to do that exercise in your book Bree. 🙃 You know, the letter that you have us write to ourselves . . .

I am angry that...

It hurts me when...

I’m afraid that...

I’m sorry that...

I want to...

I love myself for...

Reluctantly I did it. Bam ☄️ in that moment I remembered the strategy I  shared in my book! 🙆🏾‍♀️ Every emotion comes with a lesson! 💯 The moment I took my advice I learned my lesson.
